NSU Campus

The University’s main campus in Davie is situated on 300 acres and is comprised of undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools and has expanded its facilities to include a medical and dental school. With more than 3,200 employees, NSU is the county’s third largest private employer and continues to grow rapidly with approximately $250 million of projects currently under development. A recent addition to NSU is the University Center, a 365,000 square foot multipurpose facility that houses a 5,500-seat arena. The facility is the second largest entertainment venue in Broward County. A PGA tournament-quality eighteen hole golf course, owned by NSU, is located on the west side of University Drive. The golf course will be an additional amenity for the hotel guests. NSU is also the home of the Miami Dolphins’ training camp.

Project Highlights

The Academical Village at University Plaza will be located in Davie, Florida, on the NSU campus in the affluent western Broward County market. The Village will comprise 2,500,000 square feet of premier retail, residential, hotel, office, and medical space and will be located on thirty acres of property owned by University Associates, a partnership between The Brandon Company and NSU. The alliance between NSU, The Brandon Company and the Town of Davie provides all the elements to ensure a successful and streamlined project.
